Great location for friends going out at night. Off the main street, yet walking distance to restaurants, cafes, and markets. Bathroom is clean with a great shower. Friendly staff and daily room cleaning. Free coffee and tea provided every morning. Quiet and peaceful setting.
Felt relaxed, no complaints.

This double room at Pala House in Ubud was simply amazing! The private entrance made it feel like our own little hideaway, and we loved having a separate seating area to relax in. Plus, having an electric kettle was so convenient for making our morning coffee! It really made us feel at home.
Personally, I wasn't a big fan of the electric kettle. But hey, that's just me!

I always stay at this place in Ubud. It's simple, yet perfect. The staff helped me find local delivery. It has all I need, free Wi-Fi, express check-in/out, and VIP service. I'm coming back for Christmas.

The staff at Pala House were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Even without air conditioning, the room was surprisingly comfortable. I was pleasantly surprised by the beautiful garden views from my room. The location of Pala House was perfect, with popular attractions like the Ubud Palace and Saraswati Temple just a short walk away.
Smelly pillows and towels.

The room at Pala House was cozy and inviting, with a private entrance that made it feel like our own little hideaway. The seating area was perfect for relaxing after a long day of exploring, and having an electric kettle meant we could enjoy a hot cup of tea anytime we wanted. It felt like a home away from home, which was exactly what we needed.
Personally, I found the private entrance to be a bit tricky to navigate at times. It took a few tries to figure out how to open and close it smoothly.

The location of Pala House is absolutely fantastic! I was able to visit the stunning Ubud Palace and the Saraswati Temple, both of which were within walking distance. The convenience of having these beautiful landmarks so close by made exploring the area a breeze. And let's not forget about the impressive Ngurah Rai International Airport, which was just a short distance away. It couldn't have been more convenient!
Water tank noise.

Free WiFi was great, although I only used it to check Instagram to see how much better everyone else's vacation was. The garden views were lovely, I felt so connected to nature while sipping my cocktails by the pool.
The nearest airport was too far away, I mean, who wants to travel all the way from Ngurah Rai International Airport just to stay at this hotel? Total inconvenience.

I stayed at Pala House for a few days and it was perfect for my quiet getaway. The location was great, with a cozy outdoor sitting area to enjoy my morning coffee. The hotel provided tea and coffee facilities, which was a nice touch. The family who runs the place were very friendly and even though their English wasn't perfect, I appreciated their warm hospitality. The wifi was reliable and the towels were always fresh. a lovely homestay experience with modern amenities and a central location.
Would recommend this hotel.

This room is awesome! It's got its own private entrance, so it feels super exclusive. There's a cozy seating area where you can relax and unwind after a long day of exploring. And the electric kettle is a game-changer for all the tea and coffee lovers out there like me. I absolutely loved this room!
Personally, I would have preferred a mini-fridge in the room, but that's just my preference. Others might not mind at all.

the room was spacious and had a large ceiling fan with adjustable speed, which was a great touch. Every morning, we were treated to coffee and tea left on our table outside, a lovely gesture. the staff were friendly and always had a smile on their faces, even when we checked in late at 8:30pm. the location was perfect, right in the heart of the city and close to attractions like the Ubud Palace and market. the internet was also reliable, allowing me to have video calls with excellent quality. it was a great deal for the price and I highly recommend Pala House. Cons: Couldn't stay longer 😔.

The location of this budget hotel is fantastic, as it is situated on a quiet side street but still close to many restaurants and shopping options. the room and bathroom in this hotel are kept clean, and the staff provides great service by cleaning the room everyday. the hot water works perfectly fine, and the WiFi connection is strong. the price is very reasonable, and overall, the experience is better than expected.
The hotel lacks air conditioning, which can be challenging in the humid weather.

I gotta say, Pala House in Ubud is a steal for the price! The room was clean, modern, and spacious, with a great shower and warm water. The location was spot-on, quiet yet close to everything. The family that runs the place was super friendly, despite the limited English.
The breakfast experience could have been better with a wider variety of options.
